Opening a gallery
What a guest sees from the moment they open your link or scan the QR: the PIN screen, the check-in form, and the gallery itself.
This section is written so you can explain it to guests, or simply send them the page.
1. Open the link or scan the QR
The gallery opens in any phone browser. There is no app to install. The PIN screen shows the event name, date, cover photo, your studio logo (or your collaboration logos), and your contact buttons: Call, WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube.
2. Enter the PIN
Type the 4-digit PIN from the invite, poster or message and press Unlock gallery. If the link already includes the PIN, this step is skipped.
- Guest PIN: the guest will be asked for a selfie to see their photos.
- Full-access PIN: everything opens at once. See Full-access vs guest PIN.
3. Check in (if the photographer turned it on)
A short form asks for name, mobile number, optional email and a selfie, with a consent tick box. The selfie is used only to find the guest's photos in this gallery. Pressing Submit & find my photos saves the check-in and runs the search in one go.
4. The gallery
- My photos: photos the guest appears in, with a count.
- All photos: the full gallery, shown only when the photographer allows browsing.
- Favourites: photos the guest hearted.
- Folder chips such as Haldi or Reception when browsing is allowed.
- Find my photos / Scan again: run a new selfie search at any time.
- Select and Download all: see Download, favourites & selection.
- The photographer's Call, WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube buttons stay in the header on every screen.
The background theme follows the event type: petals for weddings, confetti for birthdays, soft lights for pre-wedding shoots, a clean grid for corporate events.
Privacy
- Photos stay blurred until the selfie matches when browsing is off.
- The selfie is used for matching in this gallery only. It is not shared with other events or used for marketing.
- Guests can read the privacy policy and biometric consent from the gallery footer.
Problems guests report
