Download, favourites & selection
How guests open a photo full screen, download one or all photos, heart favourites, and select several at once.
Open a photo
Tap any tile to open it full screen. Swipe or use the arrows to move between photos, pinch to zoom on a phone, and press × or <kbd>Esc</kbd> to close. The full-screen view has Download and Favourite buttons too.
Download
| Button | What it does |

| Download on a tile or in full screen | Saves that photo. If the photographer allows both originals and compressed copies, the guest can choose; otherwise the allowed kind is used. |
| Download all | Zips every photo in the current tab (My photos, All photos or Favourites) and saves it. Large galleries take a moment; a progress toast shows the count. |
| Select → Download | Choose a handful of photos first, then download just those. |
Original means the exact file the photographer uploaded, full resolution, no compression. Compressed is a lighter copy for quick sharing. The photographer decides which are available. See Guest experience settings.
Favourites
Press the heart on a tile or in full screen. Hearts are remembered on that device, and the Favourites tab collects them. "Download all" on the Favourites tab downloads only those.
Select several photos
- Press Select in the toolbar.
- Tap tiles to add or remove them. The counter shows how many are chosen.
- Press Download to save them together, or Cancel to leave selection mode.
Sharing on WhatsApp
Compressed downloads are the right choice for WhatsApp. Originals are best sent through the gallery link itself, so the other person also gets the full-resolution file.
