The gallery link

Every event lives at https://<link>.vowpix.in. You pick the <link> part when you create the event and can change it later in Settings → Hosting → Gallery Link.

Rules:

• 3 to 40 characters, lowercase letters, numbers and dashes only. Spaces and symbols are removed as you type.
• It must be free. VowPix checks as you type and shows This link is available or This link is already in use. Wait for the check to finish; it can take a second.
• It cannot match your own website address from My Website, nor any other photographer's gallery or site.
• Some words are reserved (for example www, app, admin).
• You can edit the link two times after creation. The counter under the field tells you how many edits are left. Guests who saved the old link will see a "not found" page, so change it before you share.

Publish and unpublish

A gallery is unpublished when created. Unpublished galleries show "Gallery not found" to anyone who opens the link, even with the correct PIN.

1. Open the event, press the Settings tab.
2. In Hosting, switch Publish Gallery on.
3. Press Save Changes. The gallery is live immediately.

To take a gallery offline (for example after the delivery period), switch Publish off and save. Photos are kept; you can republish any time. The Deployments page lets you publish or unpublish every event from one list.

• Event Name, Date, Type, Location: same fields as when you created the event. Changing the type changes the gallery theme.
