Connect Dropbox
Link your Dropbox account once from Connectors so events can pull photos from your folders automatically.
2 minNeeds: a Dropbox account (free is fine)
Steps
- Open Connectors in the sidebar.
- On the Dropbox card press Connect Dropbox.
- Dropbox opens. Sign in if asked.
- Dropbox may show a yellow Before you connect this app notice (it appears for apps with a small number of users). Press Continue.
- On VowPix AI would like to press Allow. VowPix asks for read-only access to view files and basic account info; it never changes or deletes anything in Dropbox.
- You return to Connectors with the card showing Connected. Press Disconnect here at any time.
That is all. The account-level connection is done once; you then choose a folder per event. See Auto-sync a folder to an event.
What VowPix accesses
- Only folders you pick for an event.
- Image files only (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC). Other files are ignored.
- Files are copied to VowPix storage as originals; Dropbox keeps your copy untouched.
Disconnect
Press Disconnect on the Dropbox card. Auto-sync stops for every event. Photos already synced stay in your galleries. Reconnect any time; you will need to pick the folders again.
