Guest uploads
Let guests add their own phone photos to the event gallery, with a per-guest cap, and manage what they upload.
2 min
Guest uploads turn the gallery into a shared album: candid phone shots from the baraat, the dance floor or the after-party land next to your photos.
Turn it on
- Open the event, press Settings and scroll to Guest uploads.
- Switch on Let guests add their own photos.
- Set Photos each guest can upload (default 50, maximum 500).
- Press Save Changes.
See Guest experience settings for the full panel.
What guests see
An Upload button appears in the gallery toolbar (and in the mobile bottom bar). Guests pick photos from their phone; a progress bar shows each file; the photos appear in the gallery marked as guest upload.
What you see
- Guest-uploaded photos show in the event's photo grid with a small label and the guest's name when available.
- They count towards your storage and photo limits like any upload.
- Delete any of them with the bin icon, or all photos with Delete All Photos.
- Faces in guest uploads are indexed too, so selfie search finds them.
Good to know
- Uploads are tied to the guest's unlocked session. A guest who clears their browser can upload again up to the cap, so keep the cap sensible.
- Keep guest uploads off for corporate events or when you do not want outside photos mixed with your work.
- The per-guest cap applies per person, not per event. Ten guests with a cap of 50 can add up to 500 photos.
