Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing an event gallery, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Biometric Consent Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VowPix helps photographers and studios host private event galleries and lets guests find their photos using AI face search. The Service includes tools to upload, organize, share, and download event media across supporting infrastructure such as Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Modal, and Vercel.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• The Service is intended for users who are of legal age to form a binding contract; guests under 16 should only use face search with parental or guardian consent.
• Notify us promptly at support@vowpix.in of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the rights to, or that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use face search or any data to identify or track individuals without a lawful basis and consent.
• Resell or misuse the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

5. Photographer / Studio & Guest Responsibilities

• Photographers / Studios act as the data controller for their events. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required to upload guest images and for the lawful use of the galleries you create.
• Guests are responsible for the accuracy of the selfies and information they submit and for using downloaded media in line with the studio's permissions.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

• Paid plans and premium downloads are billed through Razorpay; VowPix never stores full card numbers.
• Fees, billing cycles, and any taxes are disclosed at the point of purchase.
• Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments are non-refundable once the corresponding service has been delivered.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access to paid features.

7. Intellectual Property

Photographers and studios retain ownership of the media they upload. VowPix retains all rights to the Service, including its software, branding, and design. We receive a limited license to host, process, and deliver your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example Supabase, Cloudflare, Modal, Vercel, Razorpay, and optional integrations such as Dropbox and Google sign-in). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VowPix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time through our account deletion page or by emailing support@vowpix.in. We will verify your request and process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
